Join Megan & Heather for contemplative backpacking on the Standing Stone Trail in Rothrock State Forest, Pennsylvania. This 3-day trek includes Greenwood Furnace State Park, and old-growth forest of Alan Seeger Natural Area. We will cover a total of approximately 20 miles. Expect each day to include approximately 6-9+ miles of hiking, as well as opportunities for solitude and guided contemplative practice. This trip departs early from Pittsburgh on Saturday morning and returns Monday evening.

$320/person (Limited reduced rates are available.)

Transportation and personal gear are not included, but we will provide a list and help you find what you need! We partner with 3 Rivers Outdoor Company to provide virtual and in-person gear consultations. We recommend that you visit the shop (1130 S Braddock Ave, 15218) for purchases or gear rentals. We typically help coordinate carpooling to and from the trailhead with other participants.

Breakfast and dinner are provided. Participants provide their own snacks/lunches.

We never want cost to be prohibitive to your participation. Limited reduced rates are available by inquiry to those who need it.
